Chelsey Flagg
Chelsey Flagg (she/her/hers) is a mother of five whose parenting is adorned with the love, commitment, strength, creativity, and resilience of her lineage and ancestors. As a Black mother, she also holds the weight of mental strain — anxiety, depression, and stress — alongside physical exhaustion, isolation, and fear inflicted by society. From this lived experience, Chelsey has cultivated a parenting approach rooted in self-love, self-knowledge, self-discovery, self-expression, and self-confidence, grounded in the teachings, practices, and modelings of Blackness — Black history, Black love, Black intellect, Black art, and so much more.
Project: LIHK* Media is a media evaluation tool that aids Black people in being more intentional, analytical, and critical about the media they consume. LIHK media also encourages the incorporation of beneficial media, that is uplifting and liberating to Black people, into their lives.
