Parenting for Liberation is a Black-led organization that supports and uplifts Black families. Over the last few years, Parenting for Liberation has been working to build the LA Reproductive Justice Coalition alongside Black parents, birth workers, doulas, lawyers, and systems impacted folks on policies to #keepblackfamiliestogether.
In California, Parenting for Liberation co-spearheaded the statewide campaign Blind removals is a process where social workers or judges would decide whether to remove a child from their home without knowing the family’s race or other identifying information that could lead to bias.
