Zakiyyah Smith

Zakiyyah (she/her), a Los Angeles native and UC Riverside graduate, has dedicated her career to education, community engagement, and advocacy through roles with AmeriCorps, GirlTrek, and organizations like the California Black Women’s Health Project and CCEJ. Currently a member of the 2026 Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute class, she channels her passion for change into her work as a Senior Chapter Tech Enablement Coordinator at a leading environmental organization, enhancing volunteer engagement through digital innovation.
