10 Years of P4l
2026 marks ten years of Parenting for Liberation!
Ten years of building, ten years of connecting, ten years of healing, ten years of communing with and resourcing Black parents and families. Ten years of believing that Black families deserve spaces for connection as well as joy and grief. Ten years of not only believing Black families deserve spaces for connection, but actually building spaces both virtually and in community for Black families to call home. From parks, community and retreat centers, P4L has been holding space for the deep love and resistance of Black family.
We are proud of the decade of work we've done together at Parenting for Liberation and we’re honored to invite you to experience our special anniversary art exhibition, HOMEPLACE: Home as a Site of Love & Resistance for Black Families. Featuring 15 artists ages 14 to 40+, from across the US, HOMEPLACE is an intergenerational space that will inspire you to reflect on home as the foundation of Black liberation and explore Black futures in a new way.
Join us on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 for the Opening Ceremony kicking off a month-long of programming and art activations at offTOP Design in Los Angeles.
Come celebrate our decade long work and indulge in the power of Black art, community and joy!
